0870 Phone Numbers
As a result of customer dissatisfaction, Ofcom is changing the rules
governing the use of 0870 dialling codes. Changes in regulation affecting the
cost of calling 0870 numbers were due to take place on 1st February 2008. These
changes have been widely publicised over the past 18 months. Ofcom has now
announced a delay in the implementation of the 0870 changes whilst they conduct
further consultation into specific issues they have identified.

Memorable Telephone Numbers
The power of any marketing campaign is measured in response. The easier you
can make it for potential customers to contact your company, the easier it will
be for them to spend money with you. A memorable number gives your Marketing
Campaign that competitive edge. Memorable Numbers are also known as Golden
Numbers, and sometimes Gold Numbers, Silver Numbers and Platinum Numbers. These
numbers all work in the same way, it's just that repeated digits and patterns in
the numbers are easier to remember and therefore worth a premium. Which number
would you remember... 08000 111 111 or 0808 437 1926?
