Position: Account Assistant

Location: St.Helen's, Merseyside

Salary: Competitive, based on knowledge and experience

Job Role: Reporting to the Group Accountant, the Accounts Assistant will assist in the production of monthly management reports including trial balance, profit and loss and balance sheet, across the group of companies. The candidate will be willing to travel between two offices in the North West.

Duties will include but not be limited to:
To sell telecommunication solutions to new and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Preparation of management accounts to trial balance
  • Assisting with cash flows and budgeting
  • Day to day inputting of sales and purchase invoices
  • Sales order processing
  • Inputting bank payments and receipts
  • Journal entries including prepayments and accruals
  • Carrying out reconciliations
  • Credit control
  • Processing payments by cheque and bacs
  • Assisting in the preparation of quarterly vat returns
  • Monthly and fortnightly payroll procedures.
  • Preparation of Outpayments report
  • Responsible for Direct Debit collections
  • Answering and resolving telephone queries
  • Day to day filing of invoices and other documents
  • Day to day banking procedures
  • Any other duties that may be required to be carried out in the interest of the group of companies

Position: Web Developer / Optimiser

Job Role: Based in the Isle of Man, we seek a talented Web Designer, Search Engine Optimiser and Internet Marketer. You will be joining a highly dynamic, fast paced and changing environment where your thoughts and ideas will not only be heard but implemented. You will have a direct impact on IT, Marketing and the business as a whole.

You will be managing multiple web development and search engine marketing projects on behalf of our many and varied web design and development clients. You will need to multitask and assist in other areas of online marketing including both email and affiliate marketing.

You will have proven web design / development and optimisation skills with all major search engines including but not limited to Google, Yahoo, MSN, Ask etc. Moreover, all methods must be conversant with the rules and acceptable practices of Search Engine Optimisation. Reference websites and examples of your work will be required.

  • Design, build and development of client websites
  • Exploring SEO developments on an ongoing basis and keeping abreast of this ever-changing world
  • SEO copywriting
