Telecommunications specialist Elite Telecom has been named as one of
Britain's fastest-growing private technology companies.
Elite is listed in the fifth annual Sunday Times Tech Track 100 league table,
sponsored by Microsoft, which ranks companies according to their annual growth
rate in sales between 2002 and 2004.
Elite resells telecoms services and develops
telecoms software for a growing portfolio of national and international clients,
including Kwik-Fit and The Tussauds Group. Its annual growth rate in sales is
just over 43% and it is one of only 13
companies in the North of England to have made it into the final 100.
The company, which is based in St Helens, has now expanded internationally
with the launch of a European division in Madrid. It was
shortlisted in the SME of the Year awards, after winning the North West title in
2004, and Elite has also been nominated for Customer Service Team of the Year in
the Telecommunications and IT category of the 2005 National Customer Service
Awards.
Managing Director Matt Newing said: "It is a real thrill for us to be listed
in the Tech Track 100. This is an honour which we believe reflects not only our
growth but also our commitment to providing an unrivalled service for our
clients."
