Elite Telecom wins North West SME of the Year accolade July 2004
Telecommunication network specialist Elite Telecom has been named as the
North West SME of the Year in the National Business Awards 2004,
sponsored by Orange.
The company, based at Rainford Hall, St.Helens, was commended for its
vision, innovative approach to business and for its success in launching and
growing its new European division in Spain in an extremely competitive international market.
The category was open to small and medium sized businesses with turnovers
of up to £10million in the past financial year and Elite Telecom faced
competition from more than 200 entrants before being shortlisted in the final four. Elite Telecom will now be entered into the judging for the National
Awards that will be announced in November.
Simon Cutler, Sales Director, said: "We are delighted to have won this
major award. The award was for the company that best demonstrated
significant growth and innovation in its market sector, under pinned by
strong financial performance and we are extremely proud to have been
chosen.
"This honour is a tribute to the hard work and sheer determination of every member of the Elite team."
